Why this is the usual place to start
Most people arrive with one symptom and assume it’s one problem. In a local service account it’s rarely one problem. Call tracking and form tracking break in different ways, Local Services Ads reports on a different basis than Search, and the thing you noticed is often the third-most-expensive failure rather than the first.
The audit is $100 more than the Rescue and covers the whole account rather than one thread. If it turns up a single failure and nothing else, we say so plainly.
The reported-versus-booked comparison
This is the part most audits skip. We take your own record of jobs booked last month — a spreadsheet, a whiteboard photo, whatever you actually keep — and set it against what Google Ads reported. The gap between those two numbers is the thing your budget decisions have been resting on.
You’ll usually find the gap is not evenly distributed. One campaign is under-reporting badly and the others are close. That’s the campaign you’ve probably been starving.
What the audit is not
It isn’t campaign management, keyword research, or a bid strategy review. We don’t tell you what to spend. We make sure that when you decide what to spend, the numbers in front of you are real.
The four places tracking breaks
Every tracking failure we've diagnosed falls into one of four steps between the ad click and the number in your reports. We check all four, every time — not just the obvious one.
Loading
Is the tracking code loading on your site at all — every page, every device?
Configuration
Are your ads, forms and phone taps actually wired to fire a conversion when someone acts?
Data delivery
Is that conversion actually reaching Google Ads and Analytics — or getting lost on the way?
Processing
Is what arrives being counted correctly — no double-counting, no dropped calls, no silent filtering?
We've written up the exact diagnostic for each step, with the console checks we run. Read the diagnostics library — it's free, and if you're technical you can work through it yourself.
Check my tracking
Tell us what's not adding up between your ad reports and your actual jobs. We'll tell you what we think is broken before you pay anything.
What happens next
We look at your site before we reply, so the first answer you get is an actual opinion rather than a discovery call.
If we can tell you the fix in a sentence, we will, and you can do it yourself.
