Tracking Reliability Retainer
$297–$497 / month
Tracking doesn't break loudly. It breaks after a site edit, a plugin update, a new landing page nobody tagged — and then sits broken for weeks while your budget optimises toward the wrong campaigns. This is the service that catches it in a day.
Start monitoringWhat you get
- Daily automated checks on every conversion action in the account
- An alert to you when something stops firing, not after the month closes
- Fixes for anything the monitoring catches, included in the monthly fee
- Monthly report setting ad spend against jobs actually booked
- New landing pages and forms added to monitoring as you launch them
What we need from you
- Ongoing read access to Google Ads, GA4 and Google Tag Manager
- A heads-up when your site is being rebuilt or re-platformed
- Someone to tell when a fix needs publishing, if that isn't you
Why this is the flagship
The one-time services fix what is broken today. This one is about the fact that it will break again — not because anyone is careless, but because tracking is fragile by nature and nothing in Google Ads tells you when it stops.
The failure mode is always the same shape. Something changes on the site. A tag stops firing. Google keeps spending, now optimising toward the campaigns that still report conversions rather than the ones that produce work. Nobody notices for six weeks. By the time someone does, the budget has already been moved in the wrong direction.
What the monthly report actually shows
Not a dashboard. One page: what you spent, by campaign, against how many jobs you booked. If the two don’t line up, that’s the first thing we investigate that month.
Adding it to an existing retainer
Most clients don’t buy this as a separate vendor relationship. It goes on as a line item alongside whatever marketing work is already happening. If you’d rather it be invoiced that way, say so and it will be.
Pricing range
$297/month covers a single-market account with a normal set of conversion actions. It moves toward $497 when there are multiple service areas, several landing pages in rotation, or Local Services Ads running alongside Search. You’ll be quoted a specific number before anything starts — the range is not an invitation to find out later.
The four places tracking breaks
Every tracking failure we've diagnosed falls into one of four steps between the ad click and the number in your reports. We check all four, every time — not just the obvious one.
Loading
Is the tracking code loading on your site at all — every page, every device?
Configuration
Are your ads, forms and phone taps actually wired to fire a conversion when someone acts?
Data delivery
Is that conversion actually reaching Google Ads and Analytics — or getting lost on the way?
Processing
Is what arrives being counted correctly — no double-counting, no dropped calls, no silent filtering?
We've written up the exact diagnostic for each step, with the console checks we run. Read the diagnostics library — it's free, and if you're technical you can work through it yourself.
Check my tracking
Tell us what's not adding up between your ad reports and your actual jobs. We'll tell you what we think is broken before you pay anything.
What happens next
We look at your site before we reply, so the first answer you get is an actual opinion rather than a discovery call.
If we can tell you the fix in a sentence, we will, and you can do it yourself.
